Survival in winter in Yellowstone – really, the entire northern portion of the United States and most of Canada, can be harsh.

At -14 degrees, this big fluffy cow was resting. He was not part of a herd. This means he is most likely now nutrients in the soil.

Cruel truth. It is the perfect example of how powerful nature can be in our world. I thank God every day that I get to capture and display this type of work.
