This work exists for people who feel something when they encounter wildlife, like strength, stillness, tension, and beauty and want to bring that feeling into their home. These pieces are created with the same care I bring to the artwork I make for my portrait clients.
Some of you know that the first thing that drew me to photography in the first place was photographing an eagle for the first time in 2013. Now I get to do that almost on a monthly basis.
Every time I step out into the wild with my camera, it’s like an adventure. Whether I’m walking into a forest in Montana or walking to my backyard in Alabama.
What Is Mac Wildlife & Art?
Mac Wildlife & Art is a collection of wildlife artwork created by a working artist – the artist you know - not a brand, not a factory, and not a home décor store.
Every piece is made with the purpose of becoming part of a space. Something you notice when you walk in. Something that holds its own without trying too hard.
I decided to use my own name for the business. My actual name is Mac.

This Isn’t Big-Box Store Art
Mac Wildlife & Art isn’t designed to blend in with what you see everywhere else. These pieces aren’t made in bulk, and they aren’t priced to compete with big-box stores or online décor shops.
They’re priced with intention because they’re created with intention.

I place a lot of value in what I do because I love what I do. Every single piece of art and every photograph I’ve ever made has a story behind it. I can look at each one and tell you what I was thinking, who I was with, and what they were saying to me. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes because of who it may have been. This same emotional connection is tied in to all of my wildlife, landscape, and artwork as well.

It’s a continuation of the way I’ve always approached art: with care, patience, and respect for the final piece and the person who brings it into their home.
